service-learning programs for high school students.
Programs are available in Africa, Asia and Latin

Intercultura language and cultural center offers a complete Spanish immersion program in which students stay with local homestays and participate in small intensive group classes. School of the World (Playa Jaco)
The School of the World is a traveler's education school located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the town of Playa Jaco. The programs offered at the school are some of the most original and innovative options available for travelers today, offering more learning vacation options than any other language school or surf camp in Costa Rica. Our current program offerings include Spanish, Surfing, Art, and Digital Photography (and combinations of these can be taken as well). College credit is offered for Spanish.
